Why start blogging you ask? Well, you could say it took a lot of courage to actually wrap my brain around it. Thanks to inspo from my fabulous cousin Gianna and rockstar co-teacher Krystal, I decided it was time to get my thoughts onto paper..
I’m not going to lie, for a while I thought people who were blogging were just trying to show off their “dreamy” lives or seek attention they needed from people. While that still might be the case, I realized it’s a perfect way to “inspire” others.
Since college, I decided to create a separate “fitness” Instagram account aside from my currently known as “social” Instagram. I felt it was a way to help people either health wise, fitness wise, or just to get out and DANCE. Eventually, it even could bring ideas from my classroom to theirs. Anyways, I knew something was missing..
This year, 2019, (even though I HATE odd numbers) I decided it was time to make 2 different kinds of resolutions. Rather than your basic “eating healthier” or “getting fit” ordeals, which are still great to have!, I decided I wanted to
- focus on self-care &
- spread happiness (at my work we call this MADD LOVE)
While we should always be doing this every day, at times our lives can get in the way. You can’t take care of others until you take care of yourself!
Hey, who knows? Maybe this blog and going back to writing will provide me with the kind of comfort I need and the kind of inspiration for you peeps. I can be a fruity person so maybe that will help put a smile on your face? Hmmmm, for now stay tuned and suggest blog topics for me!
Spread (madd) love..
